Dave Tice is one of of the great blues singers and harp players in Austrlian Rock'n' Roll - and there is the anomaly - because he has never before confronted his own blues band. In the past he has sung with the legendary Australian hard rock band, Buffalo; British R&B exponents, The Count Bishops as well as Mal Eastick's Band. Now Dave is truly rediscovering his blues roots to create what undoubtedly must become the next logical step in the evolution of music - the blues. In a time where everywhere you look you are faced with synthesizers, drum machines, time-code and computers, Dave is making music without any of these. His band consists of something that has almost been forgotten - real live dedicated musicians. On yer actual acoustic drums that may not always run at 125 BPM there is Theo Wanders. On Hammond C-3 organ with no midi is Mike Gubb. |

Chris
Stafford played a Tune fretless bass, while guitars were played by KIm
Humphries (Strat) - who also did the solo. Peter Walker (Gibson 335) and
Dave (Acoustic bottle- neck guitar of no distinct parentage). With
a "Moan and Shuffle" Dave Tice presents a song typical of the
sound of his new band and his forthcoming album "Blue Tongue". |
